We are six guys originally from the Black Forest, Germany. 2011 we had the idea to build snowboards. Our snowboard should be both constructive and creatively innovative – these considerations emerged Steinboc. Why Steinboc?! It is the German term for a capricorn. As the animal our snowboards should convince in steep terrain and withstand extreme conditions.

Our snowboards show our solidarity with nature. We show the processed, high-quality wood and create a symbiosis of nature and design.
But we do not just show horns and show off with dummy instructions, which is why we work a lot and pay attention to every detail on our first snowboard.
The first prototypes have already been developed and are being tested.
This season came too early to produce an optimal product. But next year the first Steinboc snowboards will be available. Promised!

For the moment you can already get shirts, bags, key chains, necklaces and more in our shop. Because our team consists of mechanical engineers, a designer, an artist and recently a physician, we have the know-how to make snowboards, but also offer you other little nice things for life.
